A perfect day in Berlin.
There's lots to see in Berlin. So much so, it's quite incredible. The question is, where to start. What's the best place to go if you habe just a weekand or maybe just one day?
10:00 a.m. Café Sorgenfrei
Start the day by having breakfast like a king in Schöneberg. In the Café Sorgenfrei, you can enjoy organic coffee, cakes and the finest home-made delicacies in lovingly designed Formica surroundings. Breakfast is available all day long and nostalgia abounds, with kidneyshaped tables and tulipshaped lamps.

On we go to the East Side Gallery. A monument to peace and reconciliation, this is the longest permanent open-air gallery in the world. Just after the Berlin Wall came down, round 120 artists from around the world came together spontaneously to transform the 1.3 kilometres of dull concrete into a unique collection of political and poetic murals.

The night is still young. Potsdamer Platz is one of the most exciting locations in the German capital. Fancy a trip to the casino? Or maybe the late-night show of the famous Udo Lindenberg musical?
